I can transfer and apply the strategies to identifying the author’s purpose across a range of texts

For reading I have been working on this goal. I am able to read a text and identify the author’s purpose and give reasons. Here is an example.

My next step is to set a new reading goal

for reading this week i had to get in to a group and write stuff about changing the flag. once we found stuff about changing the flag we highlighted a word that we though described the sentence
